1. Brochure and website descriptions and prices
All descriptions and illustrations in the brochure and website represent
the general idea of the gift or Experience. All information, prices and
claims are correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of printing.
We reserve the right to amend the information or prices relating to the
products in the brochure or website without notice.
2. Supply of Experience or Gift
We plan arrangements for your Experience many months in advance.
Very occasionally changes may be made and we reserve the right to do so.
This may involve having to reschedule the timing and/or location of an
Experience, possibly at short notice, owing to availability, booking numbers,
safety, technical problems or other factors beyond our control. Similarly,
we reserve the right to withdraw supply of a gift without notice due to
unavailability or discontinuance of a product line. We will try to provide
a nearby/other alternative wherever possible. In the unlikely event that
a suitable alternative cannot be found, a full refund will be available.
Please note that some experiences have multi activity centres and there
may be variations in their itineraries.
3. Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking. We are unable to
reserve payment or make provisional bookings unless credit terms have been
agreed. We reserve the right to cancel any order where full payment has
not been received within credit terms or where payment has defaulted. Any
vouchers issued in these circumstances become void without further notice
and we will withhold all reasonable costs incurred.
4. Health, Age, Physical and Size restrictions
All Experiences in our brochure have certain age, legal, health,
physical and size restrictions. For some of our Experiences, participants
shorter than 5'0" or taller than 6'6" and/or weighing more than
17 stone may have difficulty being accommodated - please check with our
booking office or Customer Service agent prior to booking if you are in
any doubt about eligibility, if you have any further areas that you feel
may be of concern you are obliged to inform us otherwise you may forfeit
your Experience. For our driving Experiences, participants are required
to hold a full, valid UK or European driving licence and must be able to
drive manual transmissions and for some of our other Experiences you may
need to provide us with a health certificate and/or sign a medical declaration
before taking the experience. Where these restrictions have been breached
we will cancel the booking and withhold all reasonable costs.
5. Availability and Booking a Date
All experiences are offered subject to availability and weather conditions
on the day. It may be necessary to book a day on certain Experiences
well in advance due to demand. We are unable to make provisional reservations.
You are advised not to make travel, hotel or other arrangements until
your booking has been confirmed in writing. The issue of a 'TBA' (To
Be Arranged) voucher does not constitute the confirmation of a particular
date. Once a booking is confirmed it cannot be changed or amended unless
you have taken out cancellation indemnity cover (terms and conditions
apply see item 13)
6. Voucher Packs
Voucher packs are sent by first class post. You can normally expect
delivery within 5 working days. We cannot hold vouchers for delivery on
a certain date. Please advise us as soon as possible if you do not receive
the voucher pack within 5 days.
7. Safety
Many of the Experiences featured involve some personal risk. We may
require you to sign a disclaimer before we will allow you to take part.
With all our Experiences our professional instructors assess a participant's
ability to take part. We reserve the right to refuse any person from participating
in any Experience should we deem it necessary. Whilst we consider this
to be very unlikely to be enforced, this rule is for safety purposes only.
We kindly ask you to respect that our professional instructors' opinions
are final and in your best interests.
8. Weather
We reserve the right to cancel an Experience due to adverse weather
conditions that would affect your safety. We will endeavour to re-schedule
the experience as soon as possible.
9. Complaints
In the unlikely event of a complaint arising. The hospitality staff
will endeavour to put things right immediately. If your complaint cannot
be resolved locally, please inform us of any complaint you may have relating
to any of our gifts or Experiences by writing to our Customer Services
Department. We are always looking to improve upon the service we offer.
If you have any thoughts of improvements, please write to our Customer
Services Department.
10. Reserved Experience Dates
Experiences can be purchased with or without a reserved course date.
Experience dates can be provisionally booked by telephone but must be confirmed
with a payment within 5 working days or the reserve date will be cancelled.
11. Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are issued for all courses. Open Gift Vouchers are
available from a minimum of £25. All gift vouchers are valid for
12 months from the date of occasion, after which time they can be revalidated
at a cost of £25.00 for a further 3 months only. The gift vouchers
must be extended before the expiry date has passed. If an experience has
increased in price the difference is also payable. Please allow 4 - 5 working
days for your gift voucher to be delivered. For replacement vouchers or
name changes there is a standard administration charge of £10.
12. Refunds
We are only able to offer refunds when customers are legally entitled.
In some circumstances an administration fee of £25 will be deducted
from the total cost of the purchase. Any insurance fees paid will be forfeited.
13. Driveme.net ltd Cancellation Indemnity
Cover : (only applicable to certain Driving Experiences and
this must be paid for separately) A total cost of £20 for the Cancellation
Indemnity Cover can be purchased on time of booking from our Customer Care
Team on 0870 360 0 360. If the customer should cancel a booked activity
session as a direct consequence of one or more of the circumstances set out
below;-
- Death within the immediate family
- Breakdown on route to an event
- Serious illness
and you have purchased the Cancellation Indemnity Cover from Driveme.net
we will credit the cost of the activity and you will be able to arrange
a new date for your experience. Relevant documentation must be provided
for the above in the event of cancellation
14. Driveme.net Indemnity (only applicable
to certain Driving Experiences and you will be asked to sign on
arrival) In consideration of being permitted to utilize the driving
course organized by Driveme.net I agree to keep indemnified Driveme.net,
their officials, servants, representatives or agents, the owners
of the land and any other persons using the facility, from and
against all actions, claims or damage to the property or myself
or my passengers caused by your own negligence. I also confirm
to pay the first £1000 of any damage I cause due to reckless,
careless or negligent driving. I confirm that I am not suffering
from any illness or disability whether permanent or temporary or
otherwise which is likely to affect my control of the vehicles
being driven. I confirm I hold a valid UK/International driving
license.
15. Driveme.net indemnity Waiver Policy Indemnity (only
applicable to certain Driving Experiences) this is provided on day of events
by signing a form & paying the fee of £20 on the day of your event,
we can offer a Damage Waiver Policy. (That is voids the above signing
on arrival). Driveme.net have agreed that should there be any damage
what so ever to any of the vehicles I drive today I will not have to pay
the first £1000 of damage as previously stated on the signing in sheet
for my experience.
