White Water Rafting In Pitlochry, Scotland

Prepare for an exhilarating white water rafting decent down the River Tay, one of Scotland’s most famous rivers. The River Tay is graded at levels one to three. It can be relatively mild to big and burly depending on water levels on the day.

For the first half of your White Water Rafting, we will ease you into things as we go on the calmer half of the river and play some rafting games, before hitting the rapids.

As the white water rafting trip goes on, you will find that after the first rapid, they get progressively bigger. Sometimes we can try and get a surf in a circulating bit of water called a ‘hole’ for a nice gentle thrashing.

We finish the trip off at the main section of rapids in Grandtully, which is home, to one of the most popular UK white water rafting slalom spots.

Please allow approximately 3 hours at the venue for the White Water Rafting in Pitlochry. We recommend that participants wear comfortable clothing, such as a T-shirt and a pair of old trainers. We advise that you bring along swimwear and a towel. Wetsuit, helmet and life jackets will be provided upon arrival at the venue. Spectators are welcome to attend. The White Water Rafting is available all year round, every day (except for Tuesday and Thursday).
