Tail chase through the skies in an adrenalin-fuelled blast in which you get to go head to head with your opponent. Powered by a 300bhp Lycoming engine, the Extra 300 is an ultra light weight, state of the art, high technology display aircraft.
During your thrilling flight you'll be able to take the controls and experience the manoeuvring capabilities of the 300. Fly basic aerobatics and learn how to tail chase, if that wasn't enough you'll also be playing 'shoot the bandit' whilst airborne!
Flights are tailored to the individual: the trip is as wild, or mild, as you choose.
Itinerary :
Welcome on arrival & introduction
Choose your call-sign name badge (Maverick) for the day.
Get kitted out into your military flying suits,you will be matched up into 'Top Gun' pairs and introduced to your instructor pilot.
Pre Flight briefing..
Practice session of flying, aerobatics and tail chase manoeuvres.
Embark on your flight
Take the controls of the Extra 300 to fly basic aerobatics
Tail chase with another aeroplane and Air Combat
Formation loop before going back to base for debriefing
Presentation of certificate
Depart at the end of a thoroughly exciting experience.
Duration :
Please allow approximately 3 to 4 hours for the Ultimate Top Gun Experience.
Dress :
It is essential that participants wear comfortable, casual clothes and light flat shoes with good grips (trainers are ideal). Genuine military flying suits are provided.
Spectators :
Flying participants are welcome to bring up to 2 spectators,so don't forget your camera.

Maximum weight is 15 stone 7 lbs. Minimum age is 12 years. Minimum height is 5ft. Maximum height is 6'4".
You will be required to complete a medical self-certification form.

Flying is subject to weather conditions and you must call the weather line before departing for your experience.
