Ultimate Powerboat Day In Hampshire

Prepare yourself for this wave creating extravaganza! A chance to drive three of the world's most exciting powerboats, the Saber Thunderbolt, the Hypercat and a Honda Racing Powerboat.

The Saber Thunderbolt is a unique high performance inflatable catamaran built in South Africa for surf rescue. This exceptional craft is set up to enable anyone to quickly take to the wheel and have fun racing through the surf. It accelerates and changes direction, just as its name suggests.

The Hypercat is Europe's fastest commercial powerboat with a supercharged 300HP engine and an air entrapment hull. Feel the power and grace of this highly responsive racing machine! She can power through almost any watter at high speed sending the boat flying high above the water's surface.

The Honda Racing Powerboat will give you the chance to experience the unique thrill of a high speed tour of the Solent in a genuine offshore powerboat. Hold on tight as your highly experienced instructor takes the boat to the limit completing the offshore circuit.

• Welcome upon arrival
• Safety Briefing and introduction to the three powerboats
• Get kitted out into the Saber powersports racing team kit and safety gear
• You will board each boat with an experienced instructor who will run through the driving procedure. Then it's off for a full hour on each powerboat. (You will share the driving with three other guests, so you will personally have at least 15 minutes driving time on each boat and 30 minutes on the Thunderbolt)
• For each powerboat that you drive, you will experience instruction on cornering and racing techniques, wave jumping and high speed take offs
• There will also be an opportunity to race against the clock to find the 'acquastig of the year'
• Debrief and a photograph to remember your day
• Depart

Please allow approximately 6 hours at the venue for the Ultimate Powerboat Day in Hampshire. You will spend a minimum of 3 hours on the water. You will be provided with a waterproof jacket, lifejacket and goggles (if needed). We suggest you wear a T-shirt, jeans and soft shoes or trainers. Please also bring sun glasses, suntan lotion and wear a sweatshirt. Spectators are welcome to attend. The Ultimate Powerboat Day is available on selected dates throughout the year.

The minimum age is 12 years old (adult supervision is required for those under 16 years of age). You must be more than 5ft tall and weigh less than 17 stone. All participants are required to sign a disclaimer. Please note this experience is not suitable for pregnant women or those with serious back or heart complaints.
