Thames And Medway Estuary Helicopter Tours

Flying in a helicopter is the ultimate thrill and a tour over the views of the Thames and Medway Estuary Tour will be sure to please the lucky passenger!

Departing from Redhill, the helicopter tour will pass over the stunning Surrey countryside scenery on route to Kent. You will get a birds-eye view of Westerham, Sevenoaks and the industrial area at the mouth of the Thames. The flight will then pass Swanley and then move on to the Dartford area, where you will see the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge come into view. As you head out over the Thames the helicopter will line up to cross over the Bridge at 1000 feet which will be quite the thrill!

The flight will then continue on to the nearby Blue Water Shopping Centre before turning back to the Thames to see Tilbury Docks on the north bank and Northfleet and Gravesend on the south. Other sights in this part of the helicopter ride will include Cliffe Forte, Canvey Island, Southend Pier and the Isle of Sheppey.

As the flight turns towards the Medway Estuary you will see its two defences of Darnet and Hoo Forts and the historic Chatham Dockyard, before moving on to the sights of Rochester including Rochester Castle. Leaving the Medway, will then begin the closing of the helicopter tour as you head south west towards Brand Hatch race circuit, (home of the British Superbike Championship), before gliding back over the M25 and M26 junction towards landing back at the airfield.

Please allow approximately 90 minutes at the venue for the Thames And Medway Estuary Helicopter Tours. Your total flight time will be 60 minutes and you should arrive 30 minutes before your booked time. Spectators are welcome to attend. The Helicopter Tours are available 7 days a week throughout the year, subject to availability. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
