The vintage Stearman biplane first flew in 1936 and is as well known in the United States as the Tiger Moth is in Britain.
It was America's principal basic trainer throughout the war and like the Tiger Moth was produced in thousands. As an American aircraft, the Stearman is substantially larger and more powerful than the Tiger Moth. With the addition of a tail-wheel and brakes to the main wheels, the Stearman is considerably easier to handle on the ground.
The thirty minute Stearman Biplane Flight will allow you time to perfect your flying skills and venture afield over the beautiful Cotswold Hills, one of the loveliest parts of England, especially when viewed from the air.
For the more serious aviation enthusiast, there is a 60 minute flight which offers that little bit more towards your Stearman Biplane flying. You will be able to choose if you would like to learn some more of the 'basics' of flying or even try some gentle aerobatics!

Restrictions :
You must be less than 6ft 4" tall and weigh less than 17 stone. The minimum pilot age is 14 years old (adult supervision is required for those under 16 years of age on the airfield premises).
