South Coast Helicopter Tours

The South Coast Helicopter Tours depart from Redhill in Surrey and provides you with an opportunity to see some stunning aerial views on this thrilling ride!

The helicopter will depart the airfield to the West where you will turn south towards Gatwick North Terminal, where you will clearly see the whole airport below from this unique vantage point. Following the railway track south of Gatwick, you will see the huge Ouse Valley Viaduct sometimes called the Balcombe Viaduct. Built in 1842, it is the greatest piece of engineering on the London to Brighton railway.

Your helicopter tour will then pass Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill as you fly over the South Downs to Shoreham and the South Coast. You will enjoy stunning beach views as you turn eastwards towards Brighton. Keeping off the shoreline you will enjoy some fantastic views of the sea and coastline as you fly over the Brighton Marina packed with some of the latest and most expensive yachts.

As you fly east, the tour will take you over the great views of Newhaven Ferry Port and Docks, before the coast changes shape to the chalk cliffs and rocks of the famous Beachy Head, a sight not to be missed! Continuing along the coast, you will see the Soverign Harbour of Eastbourne then turn North over Halsham and Crowborough which is situated on the Weald next to Ashdown Forest. Upon reaching Edenbridge you turn west paralleling the North Downs towards South Godstone Station before coming back to base to land.

Please allow approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes at the venue for the South Coast Helicopter Tours. Your total flight time will be 60 minutes and you should arrive 30 minutes before your booked time. Spectators are welcome to attend. The Helicopter Tours are available 7 days a week throughout the year, subject to availability. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

The minimum age is 2 years old (if under 14 years of age at least one adult must be present). You must be less than 6ft 4" tall and weigh less than 17 stone. Extreme weather conditions may affect the South Coast Helicopter Tours. You will be part of a group of 3 people for the helicopter tours. All gift vouchers are valid for 10 months, unless otherwise stated. We endeavour to dispatch vouchers by first class post on the day of purchase when ordered before 3pm.
