The Woodland Patrol begins under a parachute shelter where you are taught about the SA80 rifle, then how to locate landmines and booby traps. Taking turns as lead scout, you will patrol along a set course, meeting many hazards on the way, from enemy snipers to machine guns and all the time looking out for landmines and traps.
In Survival Training, you learn how and what it takes to survive in jungles, deserts, sea and temperate areas of the world. We cover everything from finding or making water to shelter building. We will show you how to start fires in many different ways from friction (rubbing two sticks together) to using household chemicals. We try to talk about and demonstrate what you would like to see and talk about. You will have practical tasks to perform, such as shelter building and fire lighting.
For the Anti-Tank activity, take a 3.5 inch Rocket Launcher, 1 Tank and try to blow it to bits. You will fire sub caliber pyrotechnic rockets at the tank. This takes skill and is at a long range.
From a pistol to an anti tank rocket, we will show you the weapons and explain how they work with lots of funny stories. Weapons used are M16, M16.203, SLR. A2, SA80, AK47, revolvers and automatic pistols, 3.5 rocket launcher. Hundreds of weapons on display.
In Sniper Ally, armed with a 8 shot Beretta automatic pistols (air pistols), you move down a woodland range, targets will pop up to the front and sides and you must take out the targets. Clients will be accompanied by a instructor for safety.
