Segway In North Yorkshire

Segway, located at Nidd Hall in North Yorkshire, this place is almost a Victorian and medieval fantasy.

Just to give a bit of history on this stunning segway location, Nidd Hall was named after a village that many thought was the ‘capitol’ of Yorkshires Nidderdale. It’s the English form of the Celtic Nith, or Shining River. It’s a pretty way of describing a truly beautiful place. Set at the gateways to the beautiful Dales and less than half an hour from the finest Cistercian abbeys.

In complete contrast to these historic surroundings you will be riding one of these futuristic self balancing modes of transport. The Segway will give you the feeling of gliding above the ground with a top speed of 13 mph.

With forty five acres of parkland, this is an ideal place to enjoy your Segway Experience. As you effortlessly glide along on your Segway with your new found skills, you can take in the breathtaking views of this stunning location.

Please allow approximately 1 hour at the venue for the Segway Experience. You must arrive 15 minutes before your booked time. We recommend that participants wear practical clothing, such as a T-shirt or jumper and comfortable trousers with flat soled shoes. All participants must wear protective items to take part in this experience. Spectators are welcome to attend. The Segway Experience is available on selected dates throughout the year. All dates are subject to availability and may include weekdays. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

The minimum age for this venue is 18 years old. You must be more than 4ft 4" tall and weigh less than 18.5 stone.

A waiver is to be signed on the day of your experience. Surfaces vary from site to site. All gift vouchers are valid for 10 months, unless otherwise stated.
