A thorough introduction for the absolute novice or those with very limited experience. After a short land based session on a simulator, we will give you plenty of practical time afloat with expert coaching. Our fleet of wide style boards are very stable and help you to progress rapidly. By the end of this course you will be able to manoeuvre and sail up and down wind successfully.
Itinerary :
Day One
9.15 Arrive at the centre and meet your instructor
A short on land simulation session, learning the basics
A session on the water supervised by an instructor
A chance to recap on land
Final session on the water developing your skills
Day Two
9.15 Arrive at centre, quick recap of day one
Simulator session covering more advanced manoeuvres
On water session perfecting techniques
Short break
Final session on the water and a bit of a free style

Candidates must be over 18 years of age.
Duration :
Please allow approximately 15 hours at the venue for the RYA Start Windsurfing experience.

Participants must bring a swimsuit, towels, sturdy shoes, waterproofs. It is advised that you bring a warm change of clothes and a warm drink.

RYA Start Windsurfing is available on weekends from April to October depending on weather.
