Regarded by many as the ‘driving licence’ for powerboats, this is an intensive course that offers a thorough introduction to small powerboat handling.
Topics covered include launching and recovery, confined space manoeuvring, mooring, man over board procedure, anchoring, towing and high speed handling.
Our main teaching boat is a 5.8m Tornado RIB with twin brand new 60hp four stroke engines (pictured). This provides an excellent combination of comfort, safety and speed. It is fitted with all the latest electronics including a GPS, Echo Sounder and DSc VHF Radio.
