Prepare yourself for a Military Fest, driving some of the world’s meanest and best Heavy Metal vehicles!
Trained instructors will use their extensive knowledge to teach you the ways of how to operate not one, but four different military tank vehicles over a variety of challenging terrains!
This will be an action packed day, more fun then you will ever imagine. You’ll be like an overgrown excited kid. It’s Mad Max all over!

Armoured Personnel Carrier FV432
This bad boy is designed to carry troops into battle. Weighing in at 15 tons and powered by an 8 litre Rolls Royce engine, the Armoured Personnel Carrier is a tracked vehicle with skid steering that makes it easy and fun to drive. Manoeuvre this tank around our challenging off road course where you will encounter a number of serious dips and ditches.
Stalwart 6 wheel Drive
You’ll feel like God driving this remarkable machine! The Stalwart FV623 is an amphibious all terrain vehicle and can speed across the most demanding terrain. It even has the ability to travel through high water. The ultimate thrill and fun drive for all tank driving action men.
Snowcat
Be prepared for a bumpy ride in this articulated tracked vehicle. This is some serious heavy machinery which is used to transport troops over snow, land and water. Quench your adrenaline thirst as you manoeuvre through a variety of obstacles.
Scout Car
The Daimler Ferret Scout Car remains one of the most successful British Military vehicles to date. It has a 4.2 litre 6 cylinder Rolls Royce engine. Manufactured for over 40 years up until the mid 90’s, it was capable of off road mobility and carrying mounted weapons such as machine guns for attack and crew protection.
Abbot
This tank was designed to be a mobile gun to carry troops into battle. The 17 ton Self Propelled Gun has capabilities of shooting over 10 miles. The automatic transmission in the 6 litre Rolls Royce K60 with 240 H, makes the tank vehicle fascinating to drive on and off road.
Itinerary :
- Arrive at the venue and meet in the 17th Century function room for refreshments
- Briefing on the day's events
- Training session on operation of vehicles
- Head to the site to begin your four hour Military Fest!
- End the day back at the 17th century venue to be presented with your certificate
Restrictions :
A Full Driving Licence is not required, however this must be brought to the event manager's attention on the day of the event. All participants must be aged 18-70 and be of reasonable fitness. Any Medical conditions must be brought to our attention prior to the event. Height and weight restrictions apply. Participants must be no taller than 6ft 5" and weigh no more than 18 stone.
Due to insurance restrictions, we regret that children under the age of 16 and animals are not permitted on any part of the site.

Courses are available on a selection of Saturdays throughout April until October.
