Learn to fly a two seater plane in North Yorkshire, nothing can prepare you for the sheer thrill of piloting a small aircraft. From the moment the wheels leave the ground your adrenaline will be pumping!
Your flying experience will begin with a full safety briefing. Your instructor will then strap you into the aircraft and fly you around the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside.
During the flight you will be taught the basics of controlling an aircraft and offered the opportunities to take the controls and fly the aircraft yourself. Your instructor will be on hand to offer guidance and assistance throughout.
The flying lessons, typically take you along a route towards the North York Moors at an altitude of 2-3000 feet. Other typical flights could include the moors to Helmsley, returning via the White Horse at Kilburn or fly over Castle Howard, Rievaulx Abbey, Byland Abbey, Helmsley Castle and the North York Moors Railway.
Depending on what duration of flying lesson you choose, you could even fly over the beautiful villages, hills and valleys of the moors. One thing is for sure, you will enjoy spectacular sights of the Yorkshire Coastline, the Pennines and the Vale of York all with a view to learning to fly!
