Kayaking is the perfect way to introduce you to a thrilling and diverse sport in a safe and controlled environment.
Kayaking Courses are run on a lake or reservoir so you can learn to paddle your kayak in a safe and tranquil surrounding.
Fully trained instructors will be on hand to help you with the equipment and teach you various kayaking skills and techniques before taking you on to the water where the fun begins!
You will learn how to manoeuvre the kayak around the lake, learning some basic kayaking techniques (including capsizing if you’re feeling brave) and join in with a session of kayaking water games.
A great way to build self-belief and get a real sense of achievement while learning this popular, yet adventure thrilling sport!
Itinerary :
Welcome upon arrival
Briefing on safety and Kayaking techniques
You will be kitted out with kayaking and safety equipment
Session learning kayaking techniques
Session learning rescue techniques
Optional session learning capsize drills
Session of Kayaking water games
Debrief and departure
Duration :
Please allow approximately 3 hours at the venue for the Kayaking Experience.
Dress :
We recommend that participants wear comfortable clothing, such as a T-shirt or jumper with trousers and a pair of old trainers. We advise that you bring along a change of clothing and a towel. You will be provided with a windproof top and a buoyancy aid upon arrival at the venue.
Availability :
Kayaking Courses are available on selected dates from March to October. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Restrictions :
The minimum age is 14 years old, although participants under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian. There are no height restrictions but you must weigh less than 16 stone.
Weather :
Extreme weather conditions may affect the Kayaking in West Sussex.
