Flat Water Kayaking In Llangollen, Wales

A basic and fun introduction to this thrilling and diverse sport based on one of the many picturesque pieces of flat water round the scenic valleys of Llangollen.

Our half day kayaking sessions are run on flat water and are designed to be a fun introduction for novices to the sport. You will Learn to paddle in a straight line (not as easy as it sounds), reverse, turn round, stop and get out in a hurry as well as playing some games and going on a journey, oh and getting a bit wet!

This is a safe enjoyable session to show you what kayaking is all about.

• Have fun with some kayaking games
• Session of flat water paddling
• Debrief and departure

Please allow approximately 3 hours at the venue for the Flat Water Kayaking in Llangollen Experience. We recommend that participants wear comfortable clothing, such as a T-shirt or jumper with trousers and a pair of old trainers. We advise that you bring along a change of clothing and a towel. You will be provided with a wetsuit, windproof top and a buoyancy aid upon arrival at the venue. The Flat Water Kayaking Experience is available on selected dates throughout the year.

The minimum age is 14 years old, although participants under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian.
