Scale one of these incredible ice walls and see how cool you are!!
Kept at a constant -8°, they have been purpose built by hand to create several ice faces, complete with bumps, crevices (and icicles!) to suit a range of abilities - from beginners slopes to steep overhangs, vertical courses and confined canyons. Over one hundred tonnes of snow has been used to create approximately 300mē of solid ice.
A really cool way to chill out!!!!
Itinerary :
- Welcome & Introduction
- Safety Briefing
- Get Kitted up with safety equipment
- Climb the wall
- De-kit and Debrief
- Depart at the end of a thoroughly exciting experience.
Restrictions :
Minimum age is 13 years old. Participants under 18 must obtain adult consent
All participants must of reasonable health & fitness.
Duration :
Please allow one and a half hours at the venue.
The ice climbing will be approximately 1 Hour for the Ice Wall Experience. Please ensure you arrive at least 15 minutes prior.
Dress :
Participants are advised to wear loose fitting clothing and bring a change of clothes. All specialist clothing and equipment will be supplied on the day.
Availability :
Available 6 days a week. The Venue will be closed one day in the week for maintenance.Please note that Ice Climbing is not available between 14th December and 2th January.
Spectators :
Spectators are welcome.
