Experience piloting one of these awesome international race prepared Hydroplanes!
This "hands on" experience will certainly have your adrenaline pumping as you lay down just inches from the water whilst hitting top speeds of 67mph!
Upon arrival you will be met by your qualified instructor, who will give you a full safety briefing before leading you out to your vessel.
During your Powerboating Challenge, you will be piloting a race ready Hydroplane Yamato OSY 400, otherwise known as the "kart" of inshore power boat racing.
This class of Hydroplane has a huge national and international following and really is the grass roots of this amazing sport.

Duration :
Please allow approximately 5 hours at the venue for the Hydroplane Powerboating Challenge in West Midlands.
Dress :
We recommend that participants wear suitable clothing such as lightweight jeans and trainers. A long sleeved pullover is a must. It is very important to keep all limbs covered whilst driving the boats. All safety equipment will be provided. You may want to bring along a change of clothing. We have Changing rooms and shower facilities available.
Spectators :
Spectators are welcome to attend.
Availability :
The Hydroplane Powerboating Challenge is available on selected weekdays, Saturdays and some Sundays from May until October.

Restrictions :
The minimum age is 16 years old (parental signature is required for participants under 18 years of age). You must be less than 6ft 2" tall and weigh less than 16 stone.
Weather :
Extreme weather conditions may affect the Hydroplane Powerboating Challenge in West Midlands.
