Upon arrival at the airfield, you will be introduced to your flying instructor and the Robinson R22 helicopter. The Robinson R22 is a two seated, two-bladed, single-engine light utility helicopter which offers fantastic panoramic views for the flyer due to its large windows.
Not only will your helicopter ride be thrilling, but also educational. You will receive a full briefing on what makes the helicopter fly, what the various controls can do and what you must do to fly the helicopter yourself.
Once you have readied yourself to take to the skies and embark on your fantastic twenty minute flight, your instructor will fire up the engine and get the rotor blades churning for lift off. Within minutes you could be trying your hand at the controls!
One by one the controls will be introduced to you until at the end of the flight you could get the chance to take full control of the helicopter. This is the perfect introduction to helicopter flying for learning the basics!

The minimum pilot age is 10 years old (adult supervision is required for those under 16 years of age on the airfield premises). You must be less than 6ft 4" tall and weigh less than 17 stone.
