Fire Fighters Challenge In Lincolnshire

This is a shared driving and fire fighting half day experience, taking turns to do both.

You will be at your experience for three hours, and will drive the fire appliance with blue lights flashing, and extinguish fires in buildings or vehicles using the hoses. 

Experienced instructors and fire fighters will teach you how to drive and how to work the hoses to put out the fires. We use the same scenario as used for training real fire fighters. 

You will manoeuvre either a 13 ton Dennis RS or Scania 82m Fire appliance around a specially laid out course including top gear main roads, roundabouts, T- junctions, slaloms and garages.  To make things as realistic as possible the vehicle will be carrying a full equipment load and carrying 2 tonnes of water, plenty to go at with the hose!

• Briefing on the days activities
• Manoeuvre either a 13 ton Dennis RS or Scania 82m Fire appliance around a specially laid out course including top gear main roads, roundabouts, T- junctions, slaloms and garages. 
• Put out a fire in either a building or vehicle with hoses

Please allow approximately 3 hours 45 minutes at the venue for the Fire Fighters Challenge. We recommend that participants wear suitable driving footwear such as trainers or soft soled shoes and suitable outdoor clothing. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Two Spectators are welcome to attend Free of Charge. Any extra spectators there will be a of charge £5 per person. Passengers will be charged £10 per person. Courses are available on selected dates throughout the year, subject to availability.

Town - County: Louth - Lincolnshire

You must be less than 6ft 4" tall and weigh less than 18 stone. There is a minimum height restriction of 5ft 2". Please make staff aware of any fitness or medical conditions prior to your activity day. Driving on rough terrain may not be suitable for pregnant women or those with heart, back or neck conditions. You must be fit enough to enable you to climb into a high cab. Extreme weather conditions may affect the Fire Fighters Challenge. All gift vouchers are valid for 10 months, unless otherwise stated.
