The Early Drive course is designed to give kids an opportunity to get behind the wheel of a car. Most of us will be able to recall the first time we got to drive a car.
As a team of 3 people, they will learn basic driving skills including starting, changing gear, steering, braking, reversing and even emergency stops!!!
During this activity, everyone drives a dual controlled car supervised by a qualified Advanced Driving Instructor.
During the Early Drive experience each child is made aware of the Highway Code and the rules that govern driving on the road.
It's exciting and educational but it will give them a head start for when they become old enough to drive on the road.
Itinerary :
- Welcome, introduction and briefing
- Two 15 minute sessions driving a dual controlled car (Mini Cooper at Stafford)
- De-briefing session, presentation of certificate and driver analysis form
- Free 4x4 Off-Road passenger ride for guests (Staffordshire venue only)
Spectators :
Spectators are encouraged to attend. High speed passenger rides are available on the day subject to availability. A free 4x4 Off-Road passenger ride for spectators (Staffordshire venue only).
