Our team comprises of fully qualified and experienced instructors, coaches and trainers. Our priority is for everyone’s safe enjoyment of our facilities in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We want to maximise your Watersports learning experience in a way that suits you best.
One of our instructors will take you afloat in our 3 to 4 man dinghies. You will receive a practical introduction to the art of sailing. A short break ashore will provide the training to enable you to take full control of the dinghy on your return to the lake. This time your instructor takes the passenger seat.
Itinerary :
- 9.45 Arrive at the centre and meet your instructor
- 10.00 - 10.30 Take to the water and learn the basics under instruction
- 10.30 - 12.00 A short break, then return to the water and take the controls yourself
- 12.00 Shower and change
Restrictions :
Candidates must be over 18 years of age.
Duration :
Please allow approximately 2 hours at the venue for the Discover Sailing Experience.
Dress :
Participants must bring a swimsuit, towels, sturdy shoes, waterproofs. It is advised that you bring a warm change of clothes and a warm drink.
Availability :
Discover Sailing is available on weekends from April to October depending on weather.
