Taste Of Morocco Cookery Class In London

The Taste of Morocco Cookery Class is brought to you by the Akhaya Cookery School (Akhaya meaning unique) has revolutionised the ordinary cookery school approach by being the UK’s first cookery school solely dedicated to food from across Africa. We attract people with a passion for culture, travel, discovery, an interest in healthy eating and the freedom to indulge their love of cookery.

Our ‘Taste of Morocco’ cookery class uncovers authentic food from across Morocco, exploring the fragrant and exotic flavours of this popular travel destination. This cookery class uses authentic ingredients and spices directly from Marrakech! Typical dishes in this class include Lamb tagine, Kohbz (Moroccan sesame bread) and Harira soup.

This is a great opportunity to meet other foodies in a fun and welcoming environment. Our classes are suitable for cooks of all levels and abilities and it is a great way of discovering the exciting tastes of Africa.

All ingredients are freshly prepared for each student, as our experienced tutor leads through 2-3 dishes with one to one assistance. Although recipes are used in classes, all our students are encouraged to use their creativity by blending herbs and spice of their choice in their dishes. Our classes are very practical in nature so be prepared to cook!

Please allow 3 hours for the Taste of Morocco Cookery Class, with arrival at 2pm and departure at 5pm. We recommend that participants wear comfortable clothing, especially comfortable shoes. Aprons will be provided at the class. The Moroccon Cookery Class is available throughout the year. All classes are subject to availability.

The minimum age is 16 years old. All packaging, Akhaya recipe cards and ingredients required for the class are included in the class. All gift vouchers are valid for 10 months, unless otherwise stated. We endeavour to dispatch vouchers by first class post on the day of purchase when ordered before 3pm.
