A beginners guide in which you will take to the wheel of a rugged off-road vehicle and drive over impossible terrain.
Guided by an experienced off road instructor you will drive up and down steep slopes, through mud, water and put the vehicle at crazy angles you wouldn't believe possible.
This experience will teach you how to get the most out of your off road vehicle.
Itinerary :
- Welcome and registration
- Introduction and safety briefing on the circuit and driving techniques
- A taster session driving a 4x4 Off-Road (usually a Land Rover Discovery)
- Each instructor will give you a short debrief and complete your completed driver analysis form after each drive
- Collection of your driving certificate
Restrictions :
You must hold a full manual driving licence, be less than 6'6" tall and weigh less than 18 1/2 stone.
Duration :
Please allow approximately 1 hour at the venue for the 4x4 Off Road Taster in Stafford Experience.
Weather :
Extreme weather conditions may affect the 4x4 Off Road Driving Taster in Stafford.
Stafford Activity Centre :
Between the hours of 07.45 and 17.45 a 'free' minibus will operate between Stafford Train Station and Stafford Activity Centre every 30 minutes. Should you take advantage of this greener way to travel, drivers will receive a £10 voucher to spend at the venue and spectators will receive a £5 voucher.
Onsite catering facilities, children’s play area and picnic area are among some of the many facilities available at the Stafford venue.

We recommend that participants wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes or trainers.

Spectators :
Spectators are welcome to attend and will receive a free 4x4 Off-Road passenger ride. Extra drives and passenger rides are available on the day subject to availability.
