As featured in our previous blog, a junior member of our team James, went on the Junior Audi R8 driving experience. This is James’s experience of the day, including some pictures from his day out.

“When arriving at the track I could not believe my eyes as I was stood only a few meters away from some of the most popular supercars and rally cars in the world.

It was amazing to see the faces of all of the drivers and passengers as they stepped in and out of these fantastic cars.

Finally, when it was my turn to take my first drive in the Subaru rally car I was very nervous as to how I would do, but when I got used to the gears changes I was fine and confident in what I was doing.

When it was my turn to drive the Audi R8 I felt very confident in what I was about to do. When inside the car the car the instructor explained everything to me so I did knew what I was going to be doing. Whilst driving the car I reached about 85mph on the straight, a speed that I feel I could be very proud that I reached.

When getting out of the car the adrenaline was pumping and my legs felt like jelly. I feel that this was a great day and experience and would recommend it to anyone that was thinking of doing this.”
